| Sampleprep Summary: | At the specific time chosen for thermal preservation, the slices were flash heated to 80°C for 2 seconds and then cooled to 4°C; the slices were then flash-frozen to -20 °C. The brain slices were stored at -80°C for subsequent thin sectioning in a cryomicrotome. The thin sections were mounted onto conductive glass slides (ITO slides) and sprayed with matrix (1,5-diaminonaphthalene). |
