Study SummaryThe study aims to use global metabolomics to investigate: (1) the metabolic profile of supragingival dental plaque from adults with different caries-status and from specific healthy and carious tooth-sites; and (2) the metabolic changes occurring in response to the use of the arginine or fluoride toothpastes for 12 weeks.
