PR:PROJECT_SUMMARY               	study, we aimed to discover specific metabolic biomarkers for NTM-PD using a
PR:PROJECT_SUMMARY               	metabolomics approach. In this study, we underwent untargeted metabolomic
PR:PROJECT_SUMMARY               	profiling using a liquid chromatography system coupled with the
PR:PROJECT_SUMMARY               	quadrupole-orbitrap mass spectrometer to analyze serum samples from patients
PR:PROJECT_SUMMARY               	with NTM-PD (n = 50), patients with non-NTM bronchiectasis (n = 50), and HC
PR:PROJECT_SUMMARY               	subjects (n = 60). To validate the results, an additional 86 serum samples for
PR:PROJECT_SUMMARY               	each group were analyzed using the same analytical methods. We identified
PR:PROJECT_SUMMARY               	several NTM-PD significant metabolites that differentiate patients with NTM-PD
PR:PROJECT_SUMMARY               	from healthy individuals. The machine learning-based classification model
PR:PROJECT_SUMMARY               	demonstrated the proficiency of the selected metabolic features in
PR:PROJECT_SUMMARY               	distinguishing between patients with NTM-PD and healthy individuals. These
PR:PROJECT_SUMMARY               	findings may contribute to a better understanding of the pathogenesis of NTM-PD

CO:COLLECTION_SUMMARY            	Blood samples were obtained when the patients were diagnosed with NTM-PD or BE

SP:SAMPLEPREP_SUMMARY            	The serum samples (500 μL) were stored at −80°C until further analysis.
