CO:COLLECTION_SUMMARY            	Plasma Sample Collection: Venous blood samples were collected in EDTA tubes
CO:COLLECTION_SUMMARY            	after a minimum 8-hour fast. Samples were centrifuged at 3,000 x g for 10
CO:COLLECTION_SUMMARY            	minutes at 4°C to separate plasma. The plasma was aliquoted and stored at

SP:SAMPLEPREP_SUMMARY            	Plasma Extraction: Plasma samples stored at -80°C were thawed on ice. For
SP:SAMPLEPREP_SUMMARY            	metabolomic analysis, 100 µL of plasma was mixed with 400 µL of cold methanol
SP:SAMPLEPREP_SUMMARY            	to precipitate proteins. The mixture was vortexed for 30 seconds and centrifuged
SP:SAMPLEPREP_SUMMARY            	at 13,000 x g for 10 minutes at 4°C. The supernatant was carefully collected
SP:SAMPLEPREP_SUMMARY            	and transferred to a new tube, then dried using a vacuum concentrator. The dried
SP:SAMPLEPREP_SUMMARY            	extracts were reconstituted in 100 µL of 50% methanol in water for subsequent
