Study Title | Human fecal bile acid profiles before and after fecal transplant (Part 2) |
Study Summary | Understand the bile acid profiles from the feces of fecal microbiota transplant FMT patients that successfully recover from recurrent C. difficile infection. Submitting fecal samples from patients prior to their FMT and post FMT. Interested in the bile acid profiles of the donor stool that is used in successful transplants. Bile acids are important for C. difficile spore germination and outgrowth. |
